It's been a while...

I figured it was time for me to update this thing. Not too much has been going on, just busy as usual. This summer is flying by. I went and picked up Jerry's pre-k package for this fall. I cannot believe I am going to have two in school, even though Jerry is only going half-day, it is mind blowing.

We took the kids to the zoo a couple weeks back, they had a blast. We got to see coyotes howl and go crazy when the leopard got near their side of the cage, they were not happy.

I am going to a women's retreat at the church in a couple weeks, really excited about that. It will be a nice refresher and encourager.

The best news is that my brother and sister in law, just had their precious baby boy this past Saturday, Samuel James. I love him already, he is absolutely precious, and I cannot wait to meet him.

On a funny note, Jerry told me as I was putting him down for a nap this afternoon, that if any monsters came in through his window, he was confident that it would be okay because daddy would "punch 'em in da face."
