BFF's For Never

Jerry was in a very talkative mood yesterday. He likes to make lists and number things. So, he asked me, "Mommy, do you want to hear my top 3 friends." Confident I would at least be in the top three, I excitedly answered, "Yes, I do." He rambled off three boy's names in his class. Jokingly, jaw dropped, I responded, "I'm not in your top three?!"

He then looked at me, almost with pity in his eyes, and said, "Mommy, you're at the bottom...mac-and-cheese is before you.

Wow! I stood their shocked! Mac-and-cheese! Really!

I couldn't help but laugh though! He is such a character!!!!

Has it really been that long?

I can't believe it has been so long since I have blogged! I miss it all the time and every time I tell myself I am going to blog, I find that time slips away from me once again.

Sophia started soccer this past fall and just had her last game. She scored her one and only goal during that last game...too bad it was on her own team.

Gia just finished up soccer, as well. She also won the Spelling Bee at school and gets to go on to district. So proud of her!

Jerry started his first season of flag football and scored the first goal of the season for his team during their first game! It was so cute to watch him run that field with that little pigskin tucked under his arm, looking back periodically to make sure no one was gaining on him.

I have entered my second year of teaching at TBTA. I have the Jr. High age group and have really enjoyed them this year!

Well that is a pretty quick recap of life in the present. Hopefully, I can keep up with this thing again!
