I had the pleasure of going on a field trip with Gia and her class to have a day of science in the park. They challenged gravity, learned about the wind, fed ducks, etc. A wonderful friend watched Sophia and Jerry so I could enjoy this day with just Gia. One of the last things they did was feed the ducks at a little pond. The ducks were laying on the far side of the pond and here come the geese, squawking their way over to the ducks, running them out of their comfortable spot, forcing them to give up their time of relaxation. Gia and I were just watching and I leaned over and told her, "Those geese are being bullies!" She pursed her lips and shook her head, obviously thinking and then responded with a satisfactory nod, "Well, it's a good thing they're just walking away then." Got to love it!
